About Us

Swimming Classes

 Bluewater Swim Academy, based at 3 locations in Pune is home to  one of the most acclaimed coaching and competitive swimming programmes  in India. Our mission is to create the opportunity for success  experiences in competitive swimming, which range from Olympic dreams at  one end of the spectrum to physical fitness and fun at the other. We  cater for every level on the development pathway - from learn to swim to  elite competitive swimming. Our swimmers generally start in our learn to swim classes, developing life long  skills in the water before merging into our competitive squads.

Badminton Coaching

 

  • Professional Coaching for Badminton
  • Badminton 101 (the racket, the shuttlecock, the court, badminton as a sport)
  • Basic strokes (including proper grip, swinging of racket, follow  through, the use of wrist/arm/shoulder/hip and shoulder movements,  racket and shuttlecock point of contact, how to serve and receive serve)
  • Footwork and stroke combination
  • General Physical Conditioning (warm/cooling down exercises,  cardiovascular/ endurance exercises, strengthening and flexibility  exercises) – generally a tool to avoid injuries
  • Basic Court play rules (scoring for singles and doubles games, service/receiving, faults, court courtesy, sportsmanship)
  • Life Skills (persistence, patience, endurance, fairness, honesty, teamwork, friendship, sportsmanship, etc.)

Taekwondo Coaching

 

  • Professional Coaching for Taekwondo
  •  Taekwondo, the basics are the building blocks of the art, and they include a series of stances, strikes, blocks, punches, prearranged motions, body targets and state of mind, among other things. 
  • Self defense techniques
  • Footwork and punch combination
  • General Physical Conditioning (warm/cooling down exercises,  cardiovascular/ endurance exercises, strengthening and flexibility  exercises)
  • Life Skills (persistence, patience, endurance, fairness, honesty, teamwork, friendship, sportsmanship, etc.)
